Hi, What kind of error messages did you met when perform a backup? I suggest to test these methods below: 1 logon with clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 2 Use SFC to check your system files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 3 Check if the Windows Backup service is started or not. · Go to Start > Run and type services.msc. · Check for Windows Backup Service and double click the Windows Backup service to bring up the Windows Backup service properties window. · Select automatic and then click start. · If not, just select the drop down menu and then Start. If the issue persists, try to create another user account and logon to see if it works. Hope that helps.
