Win7 Can Never Finishe Copying Any Large File to A Network Location
Hey Guys, I have tried my best to solve this problem and read through similar posts on the internet. No cure yet. Here is the problem: I can NOT copy any large file (over 100M say) to my network drive. When I do it, as always, there will be a pop up panel showing you the progress. However, for me it will stay there forever. The panel will literally say the speed is 0. I can not cancel it and have to do a force shut down when it happens. Actually, even it happens, you can still see the new file having been created in the destination folder. Interestingly, there is no problem at all copying files back and forth when I am in the safe mode with network. My system is Windows 7 64 Pro. Here are what I have tried: 1. Update all drivers and install all patches. 2. Switched among different LAN ports. 3. Confirmed with my coworkers that they don't have the problem. 4. Turned various windows services on and off. Plz plz help. I am in desperate need to get this problem fixed.

Hi, If this issue did not occur in Safe Mode, this would be related to software conflicts; I suggest you try to test this issue in Clean Boot mode. Also, you could try to process monitor to check copying process: Process Monitor Hope it helps.
