Win7 / Dual Monitor Problem
I had Windows 7 x64 Enterprise loaded on a Dell OptiPlex 755 w/ ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT. I have (2) Dell monitors set up and periodically the system will blink the second monitor out and back on. I have just reloaded my system from scratch and
changed from Win7 x32 to x64 and downloaded all the latest drivers but the problem continues. I have seen several articals regarding this type of problem but so far have not found any way to get the blinking to stop. Any suggestions?

Hi,
This should be a hardware issue, but not a Windows problem.
Do you connect the second monitor with the HDTV port? If so, please refer the following support article.

Here are some pieces of information I should have given - sorry about the omission
Dell OptiPlex 755 w/4gb RAM
ATI Radion HD 2400 XT
(2) Dell 19" monitors connected with the included Y-cable using DVI-D connector
Windows 7 Enterprise x64 (but was also happening under the x32 edition)
The Driver shows version 8.741.0.0 and was the latest version from ATI. The load was a default load with only the add-on games being omitted.
I have looked thru most of ATI web information and will go back and look at the site again. In addition I have contacted Dell to see if this is a reported problem or possibly if I might just have a bad card.
