Will there be a new build prior to build 7000?
Just wondering if a new build of Windows 7 will be released soon. Between this beta and the next.I mean like a slight upgrade from build 7000. sorry if you cannot understand. :(

From what I gather, there will be more builds, such as the Release candidate, but I don't know if those will be available to the public. But Microsoft, will probably keep updating Windows 7 through the end of this beta, with updates like the one that went out earlier today fixing some things around Media Center.

I hope they keep releasing patches on Windows Update. I just installed a update here about 20 minutes ago and I already notice some things that are fixed.

I send feedback all the time. Also, I hope MS doesn't release so many versions (Basic, Premium, Ultimate, etc..)I liked it the way it was before with XP (Home, Professional)

actually i think they should phase out basic (i really think it was a waste) and just have home premium for the home user, business for the small business user and ultimate if you want everything and then some, and enterprise for very large companies.robin

But, I think they should give them new names, that would be nice.
