Will install PCIe Firewire card - Can I also leave a FW PCI in place ?
I'm preparing to install a PCIe Firewire card (a model recommended for my external audio interface). I already had a FW PCI card there - is there potential problem to leave both there or should I remove the PCI card ? (Talking in terms of resources, conflicts, anything that could slowdown system) ? Reason is: this PCI one works fine for some video transfer... Although I'll never do both at same time. And... I really don't plan (for now) to be in need for a PCI slot. The cards are separate devices and should not conflict.
