Will Windows 7 support 16-bit applications, like VISTA does?
Will Windows 7 support 16 bit applications like VISTA does?Or does it require all applications to be at least 32-bit?

32bit version of Windows 7 will be able to run 16bit applicationsproviding the applicationsdont need exclusive access to any hardware resources. However, the 64bit version of Windows 7 will not run 16bit applications. If you really needed to run a 16bit application within a 64bit Windows 7 environment, your only present choice would be to install a VM strictly for that purpose.
