Will Disabling IPV6 disrupt my homegroup?
I am installing Peachtree Accounting 2010 Complete today and received the following message during the setup process:Your computer is currently using a default network protocol, IPV6, that may cause Peachtree to run slowly. Would you like to change to a default protocol, IPV4, that will make Peachtree run faster?I upgraded from XP to Win7 Home Edition this week and have this laptop connected to my Homegroup. All homegroup services work great with my current configuration. I don't want to disable IPV6 if it will disrupt my Homegroup functions. Does anyone have advice on this? Will my homegroup function just as well if I disable IPV6?

Hi, Bubbapcguy is correct. IPv6 is one of Core Technologies Used by HomeGroup and it must be enabled if you would like to use this feature. Thanks, Novak
