Wildcard as CN on Reverse Proxy?

Hello,

Is there support for a wildcard entry as the subject name CN for Lync 2013 Reverse Proxy to replace the following urls?

webext.contoso.com

dialin.contoso.com

meet.contoso.com

officewebapps.contoso.com

lyncdiscover.contoso.com

Thank you.

I think I've found my answer.

There is no support for a wildcard entry as the subject name (also referred to as the common name or CN) for any role.

Referenced here.

Right.

At the bottom of this site https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398920.aspx you'll find also an answer:

"Wildcard entries are supported in the subject alternative name field of the certificate assigned to the reverse proxy. For details about how to configure the certificate request for the reverse proxy, see Request and configure a certificate for your reverse HTTP proxy in Lync Server 2013."

So you can have a wildcard certificate with a subject name / cn reverseproxy.mydomain.com and a * as a SAN.
