Wifi file transfer are slow and cosume 80% of CPU
Hello all, I test Win 7 for now one mounth and find it great but I noticed something not normal when transfering files throught wifi to a NAS. Actually transfers are really slow and consume 80% of the CPU (core2 duo 2.6GHz). I am sure that the problem is not comming from the NAS that only received files from this PC, and me wifi configuration allows to go one the web or have voice and video conversations without any problem. So I think that the problem is related to the file transfer using wifi, does anyone had the same problem? Olivier21

I did a clean install of the full version OEM Windows 7 profesional and I am having the same issue with slow file transfers. I am using a WiFi card. I am connected to a 36Mbps connection and my download speed is average 50Kbps to 130Kbps after installing Windows 7. When Normally it is 270Kbps to 400Kbps on Vista. It is 270Kbps to 400Kbps on my XP Pro computer as well. Now that I have Windows 7 on this computer and not Vista on it I am only able to get the 50Kbps to 130Kbps instead of my normal download speed. Microsoft really needs to resolve this issue. Plus when I press Esc + Ctrl + Shift and select Networking. I checked under Wireless Network. Under network utilization is averaging about 2. to 4 percent. With a Link speed of 36Mbps. Shouldn't Network Utilization be a lot higher then that when connected to a high speed internet connection as well?
