It’s fairly simple, here are the possible combinations of creating, joining and leaving: CREATEGo to the Windows Orb (Start) Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Homegroup > Create a homegroup > Select what you want > Next and make a note of the password that will be used by other computers to join the Homegroup. If you already have a Homegroup set up, you cannot create a second one. So, if you would like to create a different one, turn off Homegroup (Leave) on all another machines in the network, then create the new one. JOINGo to the Windows Orb (Start) Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Homegroup > Join now and type in the password. LEAVE/DELETEGo to the Windows Orb (Start) Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Homegroup > Leave the Homegroup and click Leave the Homegroup. If everyone leaves the Homegroup, it will no longer exist, so it‘s effectively deleted. LOST PASSWORDGo to the Windows Orb (Start) Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Homegroup > View or print the password.

I asked the question as I did as with Office 2010, they kept telling me I was in the wrong forum. I had discovered most of your advise on my own. My problem is, I created workgroup on Machine 1, Machine 2 sees the workgroup but cannot join it. I delete the workgroup from Mach 1, create one on mach 2. Mach 1 cannot see workgroup. This is my delimma. Any assistance will be greatly appericated.Art
