Hi, We have several domains that are set as local domains in our registry under these key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMapKey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\ They are set up with a DWORD of "1" as they are local domains. For an example lets say one of the sites is ourplace.com However a user tries to access a backend ms project server on one of these domains (ex. qq-tt-mm.ourplace.com/projectserver) it fails. If I add these entries into the registry it now works: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMapKey] "ourplace.com"="2" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\ourplace.com] "*"=dword:00000002 My question is: If the domain in question (ourplace.com) is already configured as a DWORD "1", local domain, shouldn't it already have trusted status?

Hi, Ok, however the domain is set up in the registry as a local intranet zone, why doesn't is work unless I set the domain as a Trusted site zone 2? A local intranet zone is automatically trusted is it not?

The level in local intranet zone is Mediaum-low. The sites in local intranet zone are not equal to Trusted site zone. Niki Han TechNet Community Support
