tschaf, do you have a HARD drive or a SOLID STATE drive? Solid state drives should not be defragged and Win 7 is smart enough to recognize this. Can you run defrag by: WIN | type Disk Defragmenter | ENTER WIN is the key with the Microsoft flag on top.
