Why wait until October to send out purchased Win7 product keys?
Since Win7 RTM is now available for download (at least for MSDN subscribers), what is the purpose of waiting until October to send out product keys to those who have signed up to download/purchase Win 7?

October 22, 2009 was chosen as the general availabilty release date for Windows 7. Microsoft has to manufacturer and package the product, and train support personnel. This takes time.Carey Frisch
