Hi friends,

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1. Its recommended that I should upgrade it to Windows 8.1. I agree and I prefer Windows 8.1 Enterprise but I want to know that why should I upgrade to Window 8.1 Enterprise.

I did Google a lot but didn't find satisfactory result.

Therefore, I request that please suggest me a link that can explain the difference between Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 8.1 Enterprise (in respect of security, networking, management and devices and peripherals.).

Add: Windows 7 Ultimate has the same features as the Enterprise Edition, only is licensed differently.

With IT Professional point of view, I got three important features DirectAccess, BranchCache and AppLocker. Same is features are in Windows 7 as well. Then why should I consider Windows 8.1?

There are so many benefits with windows 8.1 these are a few. I'm proud to actually say I love the OS. Microsoft has done a great job at delivering the user a really good OS. Windows 8.1 has lots of potential for future devices. I could never switch back to 7 now. I have it installed but it seem like a dinosaur compared to 8.1
