Why no RT2500 drivers ???
I know that microsoft cannot include every single driver but as the RT2500 is a popular wireless chiset and it is one of the few things that will halt instalation it seems to be a mistake to leave this driver out I can manage with vga drivers and no printers untill I connect to windows update but without my wireless network the computer is useless until I download a driver on another pc as the driver disks have been lost ages ago.

It is not up to Microsoft to make drivers. It is up to manufacturers. All drivers on the Windows update site are made by the manufacturer. If your particular card's manufacturer does not support Windows 7 you can contact their support. Were you able to find any drivers on their website?

the driver was available and I was able to download it but I feel that it should be included in W7 as without Inet access I am stuck unless I have another PC to dopwnload the drivers on.
