I've been having this problem for awhile now where AIM will disconnect randomly, normally within a minute or 2 after I sign on, and will continue to just randomly disconnect and reconnect.I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling.Tried different versions of AIM..for example 5.9.I've tried a different messaging program called Trillian.I've even tried talking to my ISP and they told me to contact AOL.I'm using an HP laptop with Windows Vista and my internet connection is wireless. But I've also tried plugging my computer straight into the router and the problem is still the same.I'm so confused and have no idea what to do. Please Help!!

Hi, Based on the AIM website, it seems the Windows Vista compatible version of AIM is 6.5 (or higher). Therefore, please download and install AIM 6.5 on the machine to check the result. In addition, if you can access the Internet but only the AIM software runs abnormally, I suggest contacting AIM support. The professionals there are better equipped to assist you.
