I have installed Windows XP Professional on a machine. I have also installed Windows 2000 on another machine. I have tried viewing Device Manager on Windows 2000 from Windows XP machine. But as I do this on Windows 2000 machine from Windows XP machine, it does not display the list of devices on the Windows XP machine. I have already tried turning off Windows Firewall from XP and also allowing all ports on 2000 but still no developments. Thank you lemP for your response. I have solved this problem. The solution was to include guest account in the administrators group using gpedit.msc.
