Why does the USA get discounted versions and not the rest of the world?
This is so unfair. Its ok to get us to beta test the software for Microsoft but when it comes thanking its global customers some are treated better than others. Obviously Microsoft have no need to respect its customers outside the USA. It is being dicounted in Europe also but you can not purchase the upgrade due to the EU lawsuit. Here is a newslink on it http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/26/windows-7-pre-orders-begin-now/.Tim Comes

I would agree with you. In fact, when Microsoft offered testing Windows 7, they offered it for all the world and there was no exception.Nowadays, I'm living in the UK, soI will have a chance to pre-order Windows 7. However, Microsoft should offer pre-order sales fairly to retain its customers. To be honest I'm loyal to Microsoft and never be affected by these small problems, but for many people it would be a reasonable impact to change their minds.
