Why does my dell laptop shut down abruptly after a windows update
Hi team, This problem started after I updated my windows7 with the latest updates. Now once the update was complete I was asked to reboot. Which was completed, however when the laptop started up it simply shut down. The windows restore tells me that there is a error in restoring the laptop and then it does not allow the laptop to reboot for another 30 min. I am sure this started a week ago with the latest updates from windows as well as the mcaffe antivirus software. I have a i7-Q720 processor, 4GB DDR3, 1GB ATI Raedon. If the windows7 is only supposed to work for a year then it is done. I bought my laptop in Sep 2010. Hope you can come with a solution for this issue.
