Why are Local and LocalLow roaming with user profiles
I noticed today that the appdata\local appdata\locallow are roaming with a few of my user's roaming profiles. I dont think that they are supposed to. Esp since some users have over a GB of temp stuff... Any ideas why this might be happenging?

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums. By default, Windows uses the Local and LocalLow folders for application data that does not roam with the user. However, when your computer in a domain, the situation has a little change. For example: 1. Logon/Logoff the first time in a domain on PC1 This time: Roaming profile + local profile is created. (It’s a normal process) 3. Logon in domain on PC2 This time: Roaming profile is used + local profile is prepared. (The Local folder is as same as Local, but has lower integrity level. ) Now, you saved some roaming profiles in your LocalLow folder. Hope it helps. We also have same problem. Can you suggest how to do this 'after' the user has logged in? Can anyone suggest a way to change where Java stores the temporary files in Windows 7? Because it defaults to the LocalLow folder in profile, it is wiped out as soon as you log out. In our case, the data in this location needs to persist. You can not physically change the location listed in control panel. Registry edit? add a enviroment variable?
