Why am I not administrator?
Hi, I'm hoping someone can explain or help me. I have recently upgraded to W7/64 from XP Pro/32. I used the Windows Easy Transfer utility. This appears to have transferred my previous account, along with 'administrator' setting. Apart from a few complaints from Outlook 2003, my current problem is that I can no longer sync my G810 (Windows Mobile v6.1) phone with Outlook (http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsmobileactivesync/thread/ab312c36-5384-4ab2-aaee-a9a136ab0135?prof=required&ppud=4). However, having found out how to enable the "default administrator" account, I have found that if I login using this account, copy my pst file and link it to Outlook, then connect my phone, it syncs fine. Both accounts claim to be "administrators", but only one works here. Thanks for any help in advance...

Strangely, it is actually working with my transferred account now. Did "administrator" do something my account couldn't? Should I be installing everything under "administrator", or is there a way I can use my own account?

I have since realised that syncing from the Administrator account created a second partnership with my phone. Having deleted that (so I could sync with my work PC) the partnership with my account now fails again...
