Hi!In Windows 7 Fax and scan pictures saved as jpg are saved with the extention jpeg. Most of my programs that handle picture files do not recognise this format and to use them I have to change each file by hand. The information display says it is jpg but when saved it is only to JPEG. (I do know i can save to other formats but I need to use jpg when possible.Any ideas how I can change this?ThanksRay

There's a way around it which saves the file faster than "save as". Double click on the scan in the console to open Windows Photo Viewer, select File, select Make a copy, select desktop or wherever, saved as .jpg.Seasons greetings!
