Why I have to use ipconfig/renew to get IP after I reboot.
Hi, I have a problem. We are using hyperv vm. We use deployment server to deploy w2008R2 on the vm then restart from local disk. Once I restart and run "ipconfigue" I only get automatic IP address. Then once i run "ipconfig /renew" I am able to get the IP from dhcp right away. win2008 sp2 doesn't have this problem. onle R2 has this problem. Note. we are using trunk network which means one vlan carries several vlans. Any thoughts? Thank you. Fang
