Why Admin rights require in Implementing BitLock
Hello, When i am enabling BitLocker, it is asking for admin rights to do so. Is there any way that i can encrypt my drive without providing admin rights to my users i.e. user can encrypt/decrypt their D drive without having admin rights for their account. OR Minimum level of admin rights that allows him to encrypt/decrypt.

Bitlocker would need admin right to encrypt, one of scenario is that a general user might encrypt driver and then admin could not decrypt it. If admin right enforce , admin could manage who can encrypt. You could promote user to admin , you ask them to join domain and use Active Directory and Group Policy to manage Bitlocker.

Giving him admin rights should not be necessary..............is there way to implement bitlocker widout admin rights??

I don't think it is possible because for security reasons only adminitrators should be able to encryt entire volumes. I guess you could use Active Directory to use bitlocker that use GP and AD deploy Bitlocker for PCs. Note that if you loss Bitlocker password then there is NO way to recover your data, therefore in order to make sure not anyone could use Bitlocker then it only possible by admin right.
