Which can be removed to free up space?
My notebook is running out of space on the C drive. I only use this notebook for surfing the net and web e-mail and to view movies off line (on planes). Can net Framework 2.0 or 3.0 service packs be removed safely?1 person needs an answerI do too

The .NET Framework programs can be removed safely but whatever programs you have installed that require them will stop working. So this is not where I'd start trimming. You didn't say how much free space you have on both drives, but I would make a folder for your movies, pictures, etc. on the D:\ drive and copy those files to it. Then delete them from your My Documents, etc. folder on the C:\ drive. Your movies, pictures, music, etc. files are probably taking up a great deal of room, far more than .NET Framework is. You probably want to do some maintenance, too. http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Maintenance MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
