Back to the ages of XP or even Vista, I cansimply drag the'computer' icon to the top of the screen to get a toolbar, but I can't do that in Win 7. Is there any other technic to get one? I really miss that toolbar~~lolThanks

I really miss that toolbar~~lolThanks HiThe function to place toolbars on the edges of the screen has been removed form Windows 7.However, you can still create the same type of expanding toolbar using any folder on the new Taskbar and position it anywhere you wish on the Taskbar.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP

This works as well, Right-click the Taskbar, hover over Toolbars, and select New Toolbar. In the Folder selection field at the bottom, enter the following string: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick LaunchTurn off the lock the Taskbar setting, and right-click on the divider. Disable Show Text and Show Title and set the view option to Small Icons.Drag the divider to rearrange the toolbar order to put Quick Launch where you want it, and then right-click the Taskbar to lock it again.

Ronnie Vernon MVP Ronnie, several people including me has a problem with missing of added toolbar after reboot. It happens randomly (in my case 3 times from 5-6 reboots). Any idea ?
