Where to manually download KB 911895 - Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data Filter
Need to fix the screensaver issue that doesn't kick in for users that have an IntelliPoint wireless mouse. Installing the KB 911895 from Microsoft via Windows Update solves this problem. However we need to automate applying this update to our users. We can't go to every user that needs this resolved and run windows update manually to get this update. Can't seem to find a way to get my hands on this update to deploy silently where it's needed. Any idea's how I can get this update manually? We are Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. Thank you in advance for any assistance on this matter, Pam Cole

Try going to the link below to download the latest driver for your IntelliPoint wireless mouse. See if that helps. In the mean time just shut the monitor off when not in use. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/intellimouse-explorer-3.0

Thanks for your reply. I should have stated I'm aware of loading the IntelliPoint software, but we are trying to keep the number of software programs installed in our environment down.... I realize this will likely be our last resort but if there's someone that has access to this update it would help out a great deal. Thank you again, Pam

Hi, The issue may be caused by the new wireless input device. You can consider to refer to this. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913405 In addition, based my research, KB911895 should be a driver update for the mouse and keyboard. It is the optional update in Windows Update.Kim Zhou TechNet Community Support

Yes thank you I know what is happening. We can't apply the update one computer at a time. We need to download the update as a file so we can deploy it silently to MANY computers. Microsoft for some reason is not offering this as an option. Does anyone have this KB911895 update as a file?
