Where should me search for update of App (Windows Media player of Windows 8 64 bit), system message sending to Microsoft Store.
I was listening to English songs on Windows 8 64 bit default Media Player (program runs after clicking button imaged headphone wirelessly connected to earphones or speakers) while surfing, because of power cut, system restarted and messaged (exact text (bold) (font colour black) 'Your app needs an update. (newline) (text normal) To keep using this app, get the latest version at the Windows Store. (newline) (font colour Purple) (hyperlink) Get the update', clicking hyperlink resends same message, Microsoft Store webpage has 'to sale' hardware, accessories and software but where update forgotten. Whether from such program failure I must listen, see media files on other programs? Can anybody tell me how to restore (Windows 8 stopped short of naming app needing update) Windows Media Player?
