Where is this dplayx.dll file? Attempting to install service pack!
I am attempting to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929) as my computer has asked me to! I have gotten an error message listed in a box under: COPY ERROR - Setup cannot copy the file dplayx.dll Ensure that the location specified below is correct, or change it and insert 'Windows XP System Files' in the drive you specify. Copy files from: c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386 What does this mean?1 person needs an answerI do too

Usually you will get a dplayx.dll error when a game or other similarsoftware is running.Try booting in cleanboot adn try updating again.Take a look at this for performing a cleanboot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353
