Where is my Windows Media Player.
I have a new desktop computer with Win 7 and Outlook 2010.The shop that built it transferred all my music, videos etc from my old XP to the new computer.Everything is fine, and I can click on Music,or Videos and they play on WMP. But,I cannot find WMP to load by itself. If I search,I get no result. It is not listed amongst the Installed Programmes. No matter where I search,it just doesnt turn up-yet it must be on the computer, otherwise how could I play my music or videos? Help would be appreciated,as I cannot fully utilise WMP until I can find it and load it.

Usually it is in the program list under Windows Media Player. If it's not there ask the place that built it for you. When using the search box you need to search for Windows Media Player not WMP.

I have finally found it.I checked in ;Turn nWindow features on/off and it was shown,ANBD all boxes were checked. So I unchecked them, rebooted, then checked them again, and voila I now have WMP showing in my Programme list.barrierexpress
