Are the terms 'instant message/messaging' and 'chat' synonymous? If yes, what determines its respective use (e.g. 'preference') in context? If no, define and/or explain their differences. What is the logic of 'Social Networking'? Also, is there space within the WLSC that provides a 'schematic' or 'visual map' of the various terms found on a typical web page/site; a basic reference for the new user? Perhaps 'tutorial' is the more applicable term I'm attempting to describe?
