Where did the cool Windows 7 beta screensavers go?
I'm now testing Windows 7 RC, everything looks good EXCEPT some screensavers are missing! I demand that Bill Gates himself should have a talk with the guys in the screensaver department and threaten to take away thier bonus checks if they don't do something! I love screensavers!Where did they go??? Can I transfer them over from a running beta?

Larry - The Windows 7 screen savers should have been installed by default. The ones that come with Windows 7 RC are:3D TextBlankBubblesMystifyPhotosRibbons Windows Live Photo GalleryWhich ones are missing?

Larry, You should be able to copy any .scr files on hand to C:\Windows\System32 (or in Windows 7 x64, C:\Windows\Wow64).-Alex

I know this is a late response, but I was having the same issue and finally figured it out. There never was a 'cool' photo screensaver with the beta - you must have had Live Essentials installed. Put that on (Available in the start menu under the Getting Started section). This should get you set back up with the photo screensaver that had more options (Windows Live Photo Screensaver).
