Where can I find actual technical details on Win 7 Service Pack 1?
Where can I find actual technical details on Win 7 Service Pack 1? Usually I can find everything included in SP's very easily. I ccan't really seem to find anything on this one that goes into detail. ThanksJames A+, Network+, MCP

Cathy, That does not describe in depth what is in the SP. It just brings me to a download page with a quick detail. It doesn't list anything included.James A+, Network+, MCP

the Sp1 bundles all released updates and adds AVX Support. For server 2008 R2 you get Dynamic Memory + RemoteFx. That's all the Sp1 adds. "A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

Does anyone know what precisely inside SP1 forces software mode for opengl, at least for some old (unsupported) video cards? I described my experience in another thread about getting my old geforce 3 ti 200 to work with windows 7 and with full opengl and directx acceleration. After SP1, opengl did no longer work as before but fell back to software mode (completely unusable due to the extreme slowness). I would like to know which one of the individual updates is responsible of this new behaviour? Anyone maybe? thanks, egman
