I want to use outlook express 6.0 with hotmail accounts. However, when I add hotmail account to outlook express sytem, the mails in hotmail servers are gone.

To the best of my knowleadge you have to change some settings in the hotmail account not with outlook express. I your web account > settings optionsThe option is something like "keep the copy of orginal receipt", I remember once I changed it, years back while configuring gmail with outlook.Please check.....and reply.
