I'm usingXP with SP2 and downloaded IE8 yesterday.Isearched the support pages and found the follwing information in my system. Under "Internet Settings" the files named "iecont.dll" and "iecontlc.dll" are listed asmissing in the"Version" pane. I deleted and downloaded IE8 a second time but keep on getting the must shut down error and the files are still missing. It doesn't matter what page I am viewing or going to it just seems to happen at will without any sepecific type of usage or website used.7 people need an answerI do too
