When try to open HELP of an application windows(Windows 7 RC) help is opened? And no contents are displayed in help?
When i try to open help of an apllication windows help appears but no contents are displayed? The contents of those application are displayed on Windows Xp?

Farhan - These help files... What extension do they have? You can navigate to the program's folder in C:\Program Files\ and look. They'll either be .HLP or .CHM. If it's a .HLP file, then the answer is simple. Windows 7 doesn't currently support that format natively. There IS a free download of the old style WinHelp utility for Vista that can be found here. However, there are issues with getting it working under Windows 7. There is supposed to be a revised version that's supposed to be available for Windows 7 - but I don't know when that will be available.In the mean time, there's a 3rd party utility called HelpExplorer 3.0 that can be used to view those old 16 bit help files and it can be found here on CNet's Download.com

It was a pain in the but I just copied winhlp32.exe from xp to c\windows and it works.It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Mr. Seven.
