I have come to notice that there is a hidden System Volume Information folder in some empty partitions but not all. Some even come with a Recycle Bin. I can delete the Recycle Bin but not the System Volume Information folder. Why is that? If there should be a System Volume Information folder in a partition, then there should be one in each one of them. I would expect something consistent.

Why isn't there a System Volume Information folder in some partitions? The same question applies to the Recycle Bin.

I've just checked. All partitions are of NTFS. None of the partitions, except the one where the current operating system is located, is protected by System Restore. Moreover I can see all partitions today, be it empty or not, have a System Volume Information folder and a Recycle Bin each. So the situation is changing somehow.

The partitions where there are hidden System Volume Information folder and Recyble Bin are not set up for System Restore. No operating systems are installed in there either.
