When printing documents they dont print before restarting printspooler service on local machine
Hello, we use 2 canon multifunctionprinters shared from a Windows server 2003. The clients having problems use Windows 7. Sometimes when printing this occurs: The document is sent to cueue on local machine, they dont ever reach server according to system log on server. We have to restart print spooler service on local machine and when that is done everything works just fine again. Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

Is it a printer pool? i.e. do the printers share the same workload and distribute it evenly? Or is it 2 separate printers, with 2 separate printer links in their Devices and Printers area?

Hi, To troubleshoot the issue, please try the following steps. 1. Click "Start", type "Services.msc" in the "Start Search" box press "Enter". 2. Double-click "Printer Spooler" in the Services list. 3. Click "Stop" and click "OK". 4. Click "Start", in the "Start Search" box type "%WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers" press "Enter", and delete all files in this folder. 5. Click "Start", in the "Start Search" box type "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the open box and press "Enter". 6. Double-click "Printer Spooler" in the Services list. 7. Click "Start" and click "OK". Thanks, Novak
