When opening files in my documents, the first one opens fine, then there is a delay in opening files after that. The delay seems to get longer with each succeeding file. Sometimes the files lock up.
It seems like once you open a file, each file you open from there opens slower and slower and sometimes seems to freeze. Then the computer itself seems to freeze.2 people need an answerI do too

Many reasons for this .1.scan your pc for viruses .2.Check your hdd for faults , right mouse on the c drive ,properties , 2nd field (extra ) click check for faults .look what wil happen then . Good luck
