Hi fobuss,1. What hardware devices have you connected to your computer?2. Do you get any error message when the computer freezes?3. Since when are you facing this issue?4. Were there any changes made prior to this issue?Make sure all the drivers for the device are up to date. Your computer is up to date when you've installed the latest updates for Windows and your programs. To check for Windows updates, follow these steps:a. OpenWindows Update by clicking theStart button, then click on All Program, then select Windows Update.b. In the left pane, clickCheck for updates, and then wait whileWindows looks for the latest updates for your computer.c. If you see a message telling you that optional updates are available, or telling you to review optional updates, click the message to view and select the optional updates to install.d. In the list, click the optional updates to see more information about the update. Select the check boxes for any optional updates that you want to install, and then clickOK.e. ClickInstall updates.Optional updates often are updated device drivers or program updates that aren't critical to their operation. You can install optional drivers if they add features (such as additional languages) or if you are having problems with an existing device or program.Regards,Manasa P – Microsoft Support.
