When connecting to VPN, vista hangs by verifying username and password. But only when going through internet, not LAN.
I have a vista ultimate machine. While directly connected to the LAN, it is able to connect to the VPN, however using WAN, it is unable to. It hangs on verifying username and password. With a different vista machine, I have no problem connecting via a WAN using the same username and password. The VPN server is Windows 2003, and I am connecting through a Barracuda firewall. Thanks

As far as I know there should be some 'mainstream' connection (e.g. LAN or Wirless Network) for VPN.
