When changing from DHCP to static IP default gw ip doesn't get saved why?
Hi, this is not a new bug for Windows 7, but I hoped for it to be gone (I also noticed it in Vista). When changing adapter settings / Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from DHCP to a static IP for some reason the the default gateway will be cleared when clicking "OK" to save settings and you must open the TCP settings and set it again. Is there a reason for this behavior? Submit
