Sending/Receiving email is not a function of Windows XP. It includes Outlook Express, an email client. However - the sending/receiving of email using that email client depends on the setup/configuration settings you put in dependent on your Email Service Provider. So - have you contacted your email service provider and gotten details on how to setup your preferred email client?
