No date has been announced. However, when it is released, I strongly recommend that you do *not* install it--not unless you have a spare non-production computer to run it on, and you are the kind of person who enjoys playing with test software. A beta version is a version that is not ready for regular release because it still has problems, and installing it on your only machine or main machine is playing with fire. As always, almost everyone should wait for the released version, and not install the beta version. Ken Blake

I'm sure the EULA will say something like: MICROSOFT EVALUATION SOFTWARE LICENSE TERMS 3. INSTALLATION AND USE RIGHTS. c. Evaluation. You may use the software only to demonstrate and internally evaluate it. You may not use the software for commercial purposes. You may not use the software in a live operating environment unless Microsoft permits you to do so under another agreement. Don't TechNet subscriptions say something like that too?

Perhaps you forgot who you are talking 2, it's me Kevin John Panzke, from Microsoft.Public.Windows.Vista.General And Alt.Windows7.General! I have been testing Microsoft Operating Systems Beta's dating all the way back 2 Windows XP Service Pack 2, just fyi! I have also tested Ubuntu Alpha's, Beta's, RC's, And Ubuntu Nightly Build's! Still, I can NOT seem 2 get MSFT 2 send me a Beta Invite 4 this Beta! Why are they ignoring me all the time?

Grab it from softpedia if you really wan to test it. I was also a Vista tester and didn't get an invite. Looks like I've submitted too much things and MS doesn't want to get a lot of feedback submissions this time :("A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/
