When Vista opens a network files on XP and then closes the file. The file is locked until reboot.
I have Windows XP and just added one Vista computer. Everytime I open a file from the network share of XP - the file I opened stays locked until I reboot the XP computer. Even after I close the file, the file is still locked on the XP box. This only happens when opening and closing the file on the network share, from the Windows Vista computer.I can access all network files fine and I can save them with no problem. When once I open the file and save it initially. I open it again and can't save it because it is locked by the xp box. Please help with any suggesstions you may have. This is becoming a nightmare.
