When I have to restart my PC, my login credentials for msn/IE are lost.
My MSN login(s) are not saved when my PC has to be restarted. It only happens when I RESTART my PC. If I simply log off it's all saved. Restarting and going into my husbands user account doesn't cause problems, his credentials are all saved. It's only happening in MY user account. The login info I'm speaking of is the user names/passwords for signing onto MSN Explorer or the Windows Live stuff. Also, the auto sign-in for Messenger is lost.1 person needs an answerI do too

Do you have your profile configured to not save Cookies? What version of IE are you using? -B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com | http://www.onenote-tips.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook

IE8. Cookies for passwords and such get saved. I think it has to deal with the live sign-in assistant, actually. Under my husbands XP user acct, our logon stuff is saved. Auto sign-in and all work just fine. If I use my XP user acct nothing gets saved on re-start.

Hmm. I don't know that much about Live Sign-in Assistant, unfortunately. Can you uninstall/reinstall it? -B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com | http://www.onenote-tips.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook

Ya, been there done that, a few times. Have resorted to just using my hubby's XP user acct. He's not on much anyway, so we just use that. All my credentials are fine this way. It's just the principal at this point. LOL
