What will happen if my computer(XP) joins Domain network?
Hello. I'd like to know about Domain network a little better. My computer is currently on work group on my home network. I read about Domain network and it says that"If you have a user account on the domain, you can log on to any computer on the domain without needing an account on that computer." (from windows help and support)What does it mean exactly? Does it mean if my computer joins the domain, other computers on the same domain network can access all of the files on my computer(files that I didn't even set up to share)? or does it mean other computers on the domain can log on to my computer like remote desktop?? (I don't want that to happen.....)it seems like many office use domain network and I'd like to know how it works . I read a couple of articles about domain and how to set up and stuff, but I couldn't make my question clear. I appreciate it if somebody can help my with answer. Thank you very much.1 person got this answerI do too
