What level of permissions does a DC's login script have on the localhost?
I know the DC login script is limited in what it can do at the localhost level. I would like to find out the basic examples of what it can not do onits own? i.e. update hosts file since its a system file, replace a system file etc... Are there any work arounds within a script to upgrde the scripts file rights?

Hi, Thank you for the post. Generally, the permission of logon script is derived from the logon user. Regarding how to elevate the permission within a script, I suggest submitting the request to our MSDN forums since the engineers there are specialized in programming. For you reference, Ive included the contact information of MSDN as below:http://forums.microsoft.com/msdn/default.aspx?siteid=1Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
