What is the recommended MTU settings for end devices?
Hi,
Does anyone know what the recommended MTU settings are for end devices? i.e laptops pc's etc.
Any help will be much appreciated.

The default MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) setting is normally 1500. Sometimes it has to be reduced to 1492 or 1450 and, if I remember correctly, it has to be set to1400 for AOL.
