What is the User Account (listed in the System Mangement console) "Support_388945a0" used for and does it apply to use on home computers?
I found this user account listed in the System Management console. It is currently deactivated. I was wondering what its purpose is and if it is applicable to being required for use on standalone home computers. Do I really need it and if not can it be safely deleted? This is an issue related to computer security and privacy, because it may be a potential source for hacker mischief and I just want to make sure that it belongs there and that it is not a risk for having it on my system. The full name is "Support_388945a0 CN=Microsoft Corporation, L=Redmond, S=Washington, C=US" and it is labelled as "Venders Account for Help and Support Services"1 person needs an answerI do too

This account is used for Help and Support Service, it´s a Built-in account. By default the account is disable. The recommendation is to keep it disabled. I don´t recomend to delete it, because in the future you may need it. Instead of that you can deny the logon of the account in the local security policies
